Reliance Industries Ltd(RIL) Q1 Results Out,Inflation Now stands At 11.89%

Inflation for the week ended June 21 is at 11.63% versus 11.42%. A CNBC-TV18 poll had seen inflation for the week ended June 21 at 11.44%.

Finance Minister P Chidambaram said the main drivers will continue to be petroleum, iron and steel products, reports CNBC-TV18. He also said that fuel and power prices have stabilised after a sharp rise.

Time for another round of weekly look at the inflation numbers. Well theres no good news coming as far as inflation is concerned. Inflation for the week ending May 3rd touched 44 months high of 7.83%.

Inflation figures are out stands at 7%..The much awaited inflation figures were out today and it touched a three year high of 7% mark basically due to the prevailing higher food prices. And all the worst, it coming at this particular junction when the Congress Govt is in its last legs at the center before the elections
