An email carrying a threat to target President Pratibha Patil during her on-going Pune visit, has been received by state authorities.

The mail sent by unidentified persons claims that the attackers may come in “any disguise”, the official said.

Patil arrived in Pune on a four-day visit and is scheduled to inaugurate the Common Wealth Youth Games.
