Once a year, pastry chef Joe Gabriel, of the Pluckemin Inn in Bedminster, gets to rub elbows with the New York fashion elite at the New York Chocolate Show. The three-day event, held this past weekend at Pier 94 in Manhattan, opened with its annual “Chocolate Fashion Show,” where designers and pastry chefs join forces to create a “chocolate collection.”
